Contact Tryna

Tryna Brown has been involved in music at Forest Park all her life. Tryna is the organist and directs the church choir and bell choir of the traditional worship service. She plays the keyboard for both praise teams of the contemporary service. She enjoys playing for weddings and special music as well.

Tryna lives in Shawnee Township with her husband, Dean, and their black cat, Blair. Tryna retired after 33 years of teaching elementary music at Perry School. She now baby-sits her grandchildren, Kyle and Jenny-Lynn. Tryna enjoys scrapbooking, camping, fishing, and reading fiction by Christian authors. During the summer Tryna participates in mission work in Tijuana, Mexico where she enjoys working with children.

Kathryn Braunwarth is currently the Director of Children's Ministry here at Forest Park UMC. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2017 with her Bachelors in business management as well as dance. Along with interacting with Gods little ones at Forest Park, she also enjoys working with the younger children through teaching at The Dance Centre and A Step Above. Kathryn is an adjunct instructor of dance at Ohio Northern University and perhaps the most important fact to know is that she loves all types of cheese.

Nicole Coleman

Nicole Coleman is the administrator and a teacher for the preschool.   She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Canyon University and worked for the Lima City Schools before coming to Forest Park Preschool. She thoroughly enjoys seeing and helping children develop and grow. She is married to PJ and they have three very active boys: Brady, Brennan, and Bronson. Most of their free time is spent watching their sons participate in many activities at Bath schools. She is looking forward to working with all of the children this fall and seeing them explore, play, socialize, and learn.
