Tryna Brown has been involved in music at Forest Park all her life. Tryna is the organist and directs the church choir and bell choir of the traditional worship service. She plays the keyboard for both praise teams of the contemporary service. She enjoys playing for weddings and special music as well.
Tryna lives in Shawnee Township with her husband, Dean, and their black cat, Blair. Tryna retired after 33 years of teaching elementary music at Perry School. She now baby-sits her grandchildren, Kyle and Jenny-Lynn. Tryna enjoys scrapbooking, camping, fishing, and reading fiction by Christian authors. During the summer Tryna participates in mission work in Tijuana, Mexico where she enjoys working with children.
