Here is a list of opportunities to become involved in serving through missions at Forest Park.
There are still a few months open for cooking and serving at the Lima Rescue Mission. Sign up sheet is in the FLC.
Other opportunities come up throughout the year so watch the weekly bulletins and Newsletters for opportunities to join others at Forest Park in serving people in our community and throughout the world. By the way, you'll have fun too!

Mission Family Promise
Family Promise is an outreach mission where families are temporarily housed and provided for. Our Church helps with donations of time and household/hygiene necessities for the families. We, as a Church, volunteer to provide meals and fellowship Monday through Friday on specific weeks throughout the year. Please let Jodi McDaniel know if you would like to volunteer or have any questions.

Forest Park Church's weeks to volunteer this year are the weeks of:
March 27th,
June 12th,
August 7th,
and October 23rd.
Lima Rescue Mission (LRM) - The 3rd Saturday of the month
Once a month we cook and serve meals at the LRM. You can choose to cook the meal or serve it. The time commitment for serving is about 90 minutes from start to finish. When you serve for the first time you will be joined by individuals who have done it before. Cooks can use the Family Life Center kitchen and reimbursement for food costs is available.
Churches United Pantry (CUP) - Ongoing
In addition to volunteers who help distribute food on a monthly basis at CUP our church attendees contribute thousands of food items, plus cash throughout the year. More volunteers and relief volunteers are needed.
